Upgrades revitalize Trumansburg’s Compass Mobile Home Community

Trumansburg’s Compass Manufactured Home Community is undergoing major renovations to improve living conditions and solve long-standing infrastructure problems.

The former Auble’s Mobile Home Park, purchased by Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS) in August 2021, spans 138 units in Trumansburg and the town of Covert.

Major improvements nearing completion include new roads widened by up to 20 feet, upgraded water and sewer lines, upgraded electrical systems and added street lighting.

Upcoming projects include replacing 12 dilapidated homes with energy-efficient models, wall installations and landscaping updates. Residents interested in learning more can contact INHS at 607-277-4500 ext. 201 or email (email protected).
