‘We are a different animal this year’

‘We are a different animal this year’

We asked for your thoughts on Motherwell’s 2-1 win against St Mirren.

Here’s what some of you said:

Stephen: It is always said that it is a sign of a good team winning even if they are not playing well. St Mirren will find themselves in a difficult situation as they leave Fir Park without at least a point, but the sheer grit, determination and unity shown by this group of Motherwell players to achieve victory is hugely encouraging. Like many people at Fir Park, I’m pretty excited for the season.

Stuart’s: Really fun game, I thought we had the best chance with both goalkeepers making good saves. The team needs to work hard and try their luck.

Ronnie: What can you say about young Lennon Miller? Our team’s efforts are also completely extraordinary. Last year we lost to St Mirren but this year we are a different animal.

Dave: Good result and excellent performance of the players. Miller again showed an excellent performance by scoring a magnificent penalty. May this continue for a long time.

James: We have no complaints about a win, a match we would have lost in the past. Miller was once again giving a classy performance and Ewan Wilson was also superb. What a future for these two boys. Go ahead, super ‘Okay.

John: Lennon Miller is a special talent, but the whole team did their part in the tough match we had to win.
