Origin of Sound

The exact source of the buzzer is unclear, but the first known mention of it on the internet was shared by a user named u/xzzz on Reddit on May 31, 2016. In their post titled “My knockoff Bose Bluetooth speaker has a Chinese accent,” they posted a video of their device saying, “Bluetooth device ready to pair.” This post quickly gained popularity, garnering more than 20,000 upvotes and 1,300 comments in just seven years.

Another Reddit user, u/Ackanir, suggested that the audio recordings likely came from a Chinese company called Jieli, known for its electronic chip manufacturing. This theory is supported by various videos showing devices with the same Bluetooth audio.
