New York Knicks Announce 13-Year NBA Veteran and Former Clippers Starter

New York Knicks announced He said that they signed an Annex 9 Contract with experienced striker Marcus Morris on September 15.

In an additional announcement on Saturday, the Knicks shared that Morris had been released.

“Knicks release Marcus Morris Sr. and Chuma Okeke,” the team wrote on X.

Morris spent 13 seasons in the NBA. The experienced forward averaged 12.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in 832 games in his career. The Knicks reportedly acquired four-time NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves, which likely factored into this roster move.

It will be interesting to see if Morris gets another training camp opportunity. Most teams hold media day on September 30 and begin training camp shortly thereafter.
