Former President Donald Trump holds town hall in Warren

Former President Donald Trump traveled to Michigan on Friday to make a move on the battlefield in the early days of the war. absentee voting somehow it continues tight race against Vice President Kamala Harris.

After holding a campaign rally in Walker in West Michigan’s Kent County, Trump headed to Warren in Macomb County for a town hall event scheduled for 6 p.m.

His campaign touted the town hall event at Macomb Community College as focusing on Michigan’s auto industry and the former president’s plan to reduce inflation. While announcing the event, the Trump campaign claimed Harris would ban gasoline-powered cars. “Kamala Harris’ actions have only shown that she will destroy the auto industry,” the announcement for the town hall said. President Joe Biden has set a goal that half of new car sales will be electric vehicles by 2030. Harris’ campaign said in a statement in late August that she did not support an electric vehicle mandate. Trump’s trade deals will cost automotive jobs in the United States, Harris said Thursday ahead of Trump’s visit to Warren. “He makes empty promise after empty promise to American workers but never delivers,” Harris said.
