Minidoka County to test election software

RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Minidoka County plans to test election software in preparation for Election Day.

The Minidoka County Elections Office will conduct pre-election Public Logic and Integrity testing at 10 a.m. Oct. 11 to prepare for the 2024 presidential election, according to Minidoka County.

Testing is available at 715 G St. in Rupert, according to the county. It will be held at the office at. Ensures ballots are properly read and tabulated by election software.

Officials will secure the tabulations and election software by Election Day, Nov. 5, according to the county. They invite the public and media to watch the test.
