Nike and Ja Morant officially introduced Nike Ja 2

After months of speculation, Nike and Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant recently unveiled the all-new Nike Ja 2, Ja Morant’s second signature sneaker with the footwear giant. After missing most of last season due to injury, Ja Morant is poised to make a tremendous comeback to bring the Grizzlies back into Playoff contention. But first, Morant will introduce his latest model with Nike before the Tip-Off.

First released in February 2023, the Nike Ja 1 has been very successful in terms of marketing and availability to basketball players of all levels. Around June 2024, we started seeing images of the young Grizzlies star’s follow-up. It hasn’t been too long since first colorways also began to come to light.

Nike has since officially confirmed the upcoming model and they have already started releasing new colorways. Take an official look at the Nike Ja 2, which will be releasing in a wider release in the near future.

Per Nike’s debut“From Ja 1 to Ja 2 the basic things remain the same. “The work ethic doesn’t change,” Morant says. “It’s about convenience, more mobility, and introducing my fans to different storytelling they might not know about. “We tell these stories through the colors of my shoes.”

Nike Ja 2 definitely has a more cushioned and solid design than the Ja 1. The shoes will be released in five different color options in individual editions: Purple Sky, Foundation, Nightmare, Tree Topper, And In the forest.

The Nike Ja 2 and Nike Ja apparel collection will be available worldwide at nike.com and select retailers starting October 8th. The shoes retail for $120 and will come in full family sizes. Considering how available the first model has been since its inception, expect it to be pretty easy to get your hands on a pair of these.
