Odisha FC vs Jamshedpur FC Player Reviews: Isak, Puitea class but Seiminlen, Sourav disappointment

Odisha FC We finally managed to win Indian Super League (ISL) By losing in the 2024-25 season Jamshedpur FC 2-1 at Kalinga Stadium on Saturday.

Diego Mauricio scored the first goal for Odisha in the 20th minute, and Mourtada Fall scored the second goal in the 42nd minute, taking a big lead in the match. Unfortunately, an own goal from Mourtada Fall helped Jamshedpur add another goal in the 62nd minute but it wasn’t enough to salvage anything.

Amrinder Singh – 7.5

The skipper showed a much better performance compared to his last two races. He also assisted the back line very well.

Amey Ranawade-6.5

Ranawade made some tactical moves in the first half, but seemed to have exhausted all his energy towards the end of the match.

Thoiba Singh – 6.0

Thoiba looked a bit out of touch in the match but managed to block some aggressive moves from the opposition in the second half.

Jerry Lalrinzuala – 7.0

Jerry He mostly kept the left wing under control when the opposition tried to cross the line and create chances.

Puitea – 7.0

Puitea He made some important runs on the pitch and continued to do his best to create more chances for his team.

Jerry Mawihmingthanga – 7

Jerry Mawihmingthanga lost momentum in the second half but performed better than the last game.

Isak Vanlalruatfela – 7.5

Isak continued to be the best Indian player on the field in the match by maintaining his form in midfield. Although he missed out on creating some chances, his aggressive attempt was quite obvious to Odisha FC fans.

Rahim Ali – 5.5

Rahim entered the field in the 70th minute and had the opportunity to prove himself, albeit a little, on the field towards the end.

Albino Gomes – 6

Albino could not concede another goal for Jamshedpur FC tonight. It would be unfair to blame him for all the goals he conceded tonight as he made some crucial saves that saved them from a humiliating scoreline.

Pratik Chaudhari – 6.5

Aside from the yellow card, Pratik Chaudhari was the silver lining for Jamshedpur’s defense tonight. From making those crucial clearances to saving the ball from inches past the goal line, Pratik was Jamshedpur FC’s best defender in the midst of this disastrous game.

Ashutosh Mehta – 6.0

Ashutosh Mehta He tried to make consecutive runs from the right wing. However, the Odisha defense was too good to beat Mehta tonight. There were a lot of Odisha attacks from the right wing, disrupting the right-back’s momentum and natural flow.

Mohammed Uvais – 6.5

Uvais enjoyed parallel fortunes similar to Mehta’s as Odisha’s attack from the wings decimated the full-backs. After an outstanding performance in the Men of Steel’s final match, Uvais saw relegation with their first defeat of the season.

Surav Das – 5.5

Surav Das He was almost on the verge of being expelled after some miscalculated challenges. He was entrusted with the responsibility of controlling and dominating the middle of the park. However, his performance tonight was disappointing. He was defeated in just 45 minutes.

Seminlen Doungel – 5.5

Len was brought in as the only change for Sanan tonight. However, he failed to live up to and meet Khalid’s expectations. He was replaced by Aniket Jadhav at the start of the second half.

Imran Khan – 6.5

It was a tough game for Imran, who was seen helping the team defensively rather than contributing aggressively in attack. He was seen making these crosses into the opponent’s penalty area, but the strikers could not turn them into goals.

Reserves

Mobashir Rahman – 7

Mobashir’s start in the second half revived the Jamshedpur side. His outstanding ability to take set-pieces helped Jamshedpur equalize and heralded his presence in the game.
