1 injured, pending charges after Greene County I-81 crash

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — One person was injured and charges are pending after a crash on Interstate 81 in Greene County on Friday.

Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) reports a Ford E-350 motorhome was traveling south on I-81 in front of a tractor-trailer. The motorhome reported lost power, slowed down and started to exit from the left lane to the shoulder just before 3 am

The tractor-trailer was unable to move over and hit the motorhome, THP stated.

A passenger of the motorhome was injured in the crash. The driver and three other passengers were uninjured, according to the report.

The driver and passenger of the tractor-trailer were uninjured in the crash. Both were reportedly wearing seatbelts.

Charges against the driver of the motorhome and the driver of the tractor-trailer are pending, THP reported.
