Free Kauai Community College fall semester concerts announced

LIHUE — Kauai Community College Instrumental Music’s Sarah Tochiki announced the band’s free, reservation-free fall concert schedule.

The concerts will be presented at two different venues: Kukui Grove Center and Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center.

The fall semester series begins with the Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony’s Veterans Day Memorial Concert on November 8 at Kukui Grove Center at 6:30 p.m.

The second musical presentation at Kukui Grove will take place on December 1, when the Jazz Ensemble kicks off the holiday season with a Holiday Season Kickoff Concert beginning at noon.

On December 7, the Symphony Orchestra Winter Concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center.

On December 15, the Jazz Ensemble and Wind Symphony will present the Winter Concert at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center, starting at 4 p.m.

All concerts are open to everyone without admission or pre-reservation, Tochiki said.
