‘Devara’ Kerala box office collections day 1: Jr NTR starrer collects Rs 30 lakh

Jr NTR‘the most awaited action drama movie’devara: Chapter 1′ opened with just Rs 30 lakh in Kerala alone.

According to initial estimates of website Sacnilk, ‘Devara’ minted only Rs 30 lakh from Kerala on day 1. Koratala Shiva‘s directorial costs Rs 77 crore.

from telugu marketAs per initial estimates, it has minted Rs 68.6 crore on day 1, from Hindi the film has minted Rs 7 crore, from Karnataka the film has collected Rs 30 lakh and from Tamil it has collected Rs 80 lakh as per initial estimates.
‘Devara: Part 1’ hit the big screens on September 27 and the film was met with mostly mediocre reviews from the audience.
In our ETimes review, we gave the film a rating of 3.0 out of 5. Our review read, “Director Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, delivers a visually spectacular and action-packed experience but falls flat. Short on narrative depth and character development. Coming back to the big screen after the success of RRR, Jr NTR shines as the duo of Devara and Vara and delivers intense, praiseworthy performances that elevate the film; especially in action scenes, ability to express emotion, and effortless dancing skills. . “His commanding presence, powerful dialogue delivery, and flawless dance moves stand out, but the story itself doesn’t offer the same level of intrigue or excitement.”
Our review also says that the second half of the film falls short compared to the well-constructed first half. It was evaluated that the second half had serious tempo problems. Let’s see if the movie can reach great numbers this weekend.
