Comfort Keepers will organize a pickleball tournament to raise funds for Alzheimer’s treatment

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Comfort Keepers announced a pickleball tournament at Beau Rivage Golf and Resort as part of a nationwide fundraising effort for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Players of all skill levels can participate for just $25 per person on Sunday, October 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will feature a 50/50 raffle, prizes and prizes, and all proceeds will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.

“Comfort Keepers is proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” said Alyssa Kelly, Owner of Wilmington Comfort Keepers. “The association provides essential care and benefits to those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, from face-to-face support to online education. “Their work makes a profound difference in the lives of individuals and families facing this challenging disease.”

This year, Comfort Keepers’ nationwide teams include the Silver Level National Walking Team, which hopes to raise $100,000 for local chapters across the country as part of the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
