‘The Holiday Exchange’ Trailer Starring Taylor Frey and Rick Cosnett Puts an LGBTQ Spin on ‘The Holiday’ (Exclusive)

One of our Christmas movie favorites is about to go LGBTQ.

Taylor Frey, Rick Cosnett And Kyle Richards give stars Holiday ExchangeIt’s about a single man who changes house with someone else, just like Cameron Diaz And Kate Winslet did it in 2006 Holiday.

In the exclusive trailer for the new movie, which will premiere on Peacock and Prime Video on October 1, Wilde (Frey), who lives in Hollywood, confronts her boyfriend Sean, who claims that he was going on a writer’s vacation and visiting his ex instead.

“I’m going to finish Sean off for this,” says Wilde’s mother, Lola (Richards).

But all this makes Wilde want to get out of town, so he visits a vacation rental and checks out a cute cottage in a snowy European town called Brilfax. According to the site, it’s a “Great Brilfax Escape” and is rented by Oliver (Cosnett).

Meanwhile, Oliver goes to Wilde’s house in Los Angeles. “This is so amazing!” declares.

It’s no surprise that romance is emerging on both sides of the world as the holidays approach.

Lola tells Wilde: “When we fall, we get up again. And that’s just as true of love as it was with riding a bicycle when we were a little kid.” “Should we drink?”

The film’s official logline reads: “Wilde (Frey) has just sold his company, but as he welcomes the holiday as a lonely man, he decides to switch houses with handsome, Brilfax-born Oliver (Cosnett) via an LGBTQ app. They escape their troubles and each “She meets handsome locals like Julius (Samer Salem) and Henry (Daniel Garcia) who spice up their visit. In the process, romance sparks in both sunny Los Angeles and a charming, snowy town called Brilfax.”

The film was written by Frey and directed by Jake Helgren, who helmed last year’s sensational Lifetime movie. A Cowboy Christmas Romance. Helgren, Frey, and Frey’s husband Kyle Dean Massey are producers.
