New Peoria luxury community will serve residents 55 and older

A new boutique community of 414 homes with a private club for buyers ages 55 and older is underway in Peoria.

The community called Ridgecrest, developed by Trilogy by Shea Homes, will have home prices starting in the $400,000s and above $700,000.

The new community is located in: 7,100 acres of Vistanca development Near Loop 303 and Lone Mountain Parkway.

This is the first boutique Trilogy community designed to be more intimate than Shea’s larger communities for people 55 and older.

“We hired award-winning designers and researched the best boutique hotels featuring the latest wellness design trends,” said Hal Looney, president of Shea Homes’ Arizona Active Lifestyle division.

The community will include a 6,000-square-foot wellness center and a dedicated social center. Plans call for it to have indoor and outdoor spaces to meet, a fitness and movement studio, outdoor fitness and event lawns, resort and lap pools, and pickleball courts. Fitness classes, speakers, outings, food and wine events, and cultural celebrations will be held in the clubhouse.

Ridgecrest is surrounded by 1,000 acres of desert and mountain preserves.

Pre-sales of houses ranging in size from 1,649 square meters to 3,040 square meters will begin in October.

West Valley is a building hotspot

The West Valley is the hottest spot for homebuilding in metro Phoenix, with massive expansions in the area Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Inc. And Amkor The technology will encourage thousands more new homes in the already growing region.

Shea owns a 3,300-home Trilogy community in Vistancia that sold out last year.
