What to expect at CanJam SoCal 2024?

Summer has come and gone, but you can still enjoy the sun in Southern California because it’s time for another edition of CanJam. As with every CanJam, there are lots of new products to look out for. Below are the headphones and IEMs we’re most looking forward to seeing at CanJam SoCal 2024.

Headphones

Hifiman HE1000SE Introduced

Hifiman changed the game with its brand new products Susvara Introduced this year. This headphone had a brand new design that left the drivers of the headphone exposed while listening. Now they are bringing this technology to the HE1000SE. Hifiman’s founder and CEO, Dr. According to Fang Bian, “The most effective way to prevent sound wave reflections and refractions from the grille is to eliminate the entire grille design and ensure that the diaphragm is fully open. The result is a clearly more detailed and open sound; That’s why we call this approach ‘explained’ technology.” This is an exciting new development in headphone design and is definitely worth checking out at the show.

Audeze CRBN2

Another potential game changer coming to the event is Audeze CRBN2. The original CRBN was an instant success at CanJam, and its successor should be no different. The key to the new version of the headset is SLAM technology. This design optimizes air pressure distribution throughout the driver; This aims to increase low frequency performance without introducing distortion. The aim here is to bring a better and more improved bass response to the world of electrostatic headphones. At the same time, CRBN2 aims to improve soundstage and imaging with improved phase response. This set of headphones is sure to steal the show.

Sivga P2 Pro

Sivga made a big splash a few years ago with the P2, a variant of the Sendy Audio Aiva. Now they’re back P2 ProWe reviewed it earlier this year. The P2 Pro took everything we loved about the original set and improved it to have a more natural midrange and stronger bass response, while retaining the sense of detail pickup. It has a slightly new look with yellow wooden ear cups and also improves comfort with its restructured headband. Check out the P2 at CanJam and see its beautiful design for yourself.

The final fascinated with what it did D7000 It aired at CanJam NYC. Now they are back with new models, the D8000 DC and DC Pro. These new models aim to “start over” the D8000 series. With updated drivers and damping systems, as well as new ear cushions, these new headphones are sure to please existing fans of the D8000 series.

Audio-Technica ATH-ADX3000

Taking its flagship headphones as a model, Audio-Technica aims to bring natural Open Air sound to a “wider audience.” With sporty 58mm integrated driver units that position the diaphragm, voice coil, baffle and magnet in a single unit, the ADX3000 improves airflow and full-range sound reproduction. It’s exciting to see high-end audio companies looking to make their headphones more accessible. We recommend adding this set to your must-see list.
