The reviewer really enjoyed the graphical presentation, calling it “the best looking football simulator”. They also liked the “near-perfect” gaming experience. However, they felt that the revision in tactics might be too complex for new players to the series. Moreover, they also acknowledged that the game offers a similar experience to past entries. Regardless, they still enjoyed the title very much.

Impulse Gamer placed a bid on FC 25 4.3/5 Check out the score. They said in their summary: “Powered by a new strategy engine (FC IQ) with an emphasis on 5v5 (Rush) and women’s modes, FC 25 is a nice upgrade from FC 24.” The reviewer liked the new Rush Mode, although it wasn’t much different from FC 24. They also appreciated the new FC IQ system, which they felt made the game much better than FC 24.

Guardian voted four out of five starsI liked the overall gaming experience but felt there was nothing revolutionary about it. “EA Sports FC 25 is perhaps not a major structural breakthrough like its predecessor; to put it classically, it is not a revolution but an evolution.” They also talked about ongoing issues in Ultimate Team that have plagued the series for years. The author also mentions “noticeable” graphical glitches.

GamesRadar+ gives the game a 4/5“While gameplay familiarity may initially trigger frustration – career mode changes and the stellar Rush mode will soon set you back another year.” They summed up the FC series as a whole perfectly: “You love it, then you hate it. You tear it apart on social media, then buy it anyway. You swear on Friday that you will never play again, and then on Saturday you will play the entire weekend league to your heart’s content. Overall, the Reviewer liked the new Rush Mode and improvements to AI Goalkeeper gameplay.

DualShockers gave a 8/10 Review score of the game. Although they appreciated the “customizable gameplay and realistic match flow”, they noted that the game still felt too similar to older games. You’ll either love it, hate it, or probably fall somewhere in the middle like me. Although they liked the new Rush Mode, they felt it did not make a meaningful change to the title.

EA Sports FC 25 Review Score Summary – Is FC 25 Worth Your Time and Money?

While FC 25 looks to feature some really nice improvements, it’s more or less the same as last year’s game. While new additions like Rush Mode are nice, they don’t seem to bring enough to make FC 25 a truly great game. The same issues and glitches that have plagued the series persist, whether in Career or the microtransaction-dominated Ultimate Team Mode.

Another big problem is that many teams from outside Europe and Germany are not included in the squad. If you love Serie A football, prepare yourself for major disappointment as many teams are missing this year. And the generic teams they replace them with won’t be enough to convince you to play. Despite leaving the FIFA name, EA Sports could not acquire the rights to some of Italy’s biggest teams for some reasons.

But if you at least like the current FC formula, you’ll probably like this game too. Gameplay looks mostly the same. So if you liked what the series had to offer before, you’ll at least feel comfortable here. Then it becomes a matter of whether you want to spend money on a new game with minor differences. It’s up to you to determine this.

FC 25 looks like a good game, but it’s not a great game. To be brutally honest, EA Sports seems to have put in minimal effort to deliver a “good” product. Although we don’t mean to criticize EA, we think the series has the potential to do much more. However, FC 25 will likely be played by millions as the “want” for the next FC game overrides the “need” for a better product.
