Watch: Salma Hayek makes HBO adaptation of ‘Like Water for Chocolate’

September 27 (UPI) — HBO gives information about the new series Like Water to Chocolate.

The network shared a trailer for the show featuring Azul Guaita and Andrés Baida on Friday.

Like Water to Chocolate It is a romantic drama based on the novel by Laura Esquivel. The series is set during the Mexican Revolution and follows Tita de la Garza (Guaita) and Pedro Múzquiz (Baida), a young couple who cannot be together due to family tradition that Tita’s youngest daughter should never marry in order to care for her mother.
