Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon is now in a steel case

Last year, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon was unveiled rose goldand now there is one made of steel (ref. Q392845J). This watch is an evolution of the platinum Duoface model from 1994, which featured two opposing dials, each displaying a different time zone and powered by a single movement. The highlight of Caliber 847 is a Tourbillon cage that rotates on circumferential ball bearings. This ensures that the movement is only 3.9mm thick and the entire watch case is only 9.15mm thick. The case also measures 27.4mm wide and 45.5mm long and is fitted with a black alligator leather strap. Also included is a gray Casa Fagliano calfskin strap.

Unlike the cool gray front dial with a bright sunray pattern, the rear dial displaying the second time zone has a clear engraved dial. With its manually inclined bridges and surfaces decorated with manual guilloché, Clous de Paris invites you to observe and study the complex movement. The price of this watch is available upon request.

New Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds in shiny rose gold and blue

The 18K rose gold Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds now comes with a glossy, ink blue lacquered front dial (ref. Q3982590). Since this is a Duoface, it also has a second dial and it has been redesigned as well. Protruding rose gold indexes applied to a silver background indicate a recessed center and a sophisticated 24-hour (day-night) display.

The rose gold case is 28.3 mm wide, 47 mm long and 9.6 mm thick and houses the manually wound caliber 854A/2. This is the same 19-jewel, 3 Hz in-house movement that powers most current Duoface models. Hours, minutes and small seconds are displayed on the blue dial with 20 layers of lacquer. The reverse silver dial shows an additional time zone and 24-hour indicator. You can adjust this time zone with a small slider built into the top case band; this remains invisible until you remove the chassis from the sled. The price of this Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds is: €27,900 / $25,500.

Stay tuned for hands-on reviews of these innovations. The two Monoface versions should be quite interesting, especially those that approach the proportions of the original 1931 Reverso.
