PlayStation State of Play September 2024: Ghost of Yotei, new accessories and more revealed

Sony has wrapped up its PlayStation State of Play September 2024 stream, where it announced a slew of new games PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 games. The over 30-minute presentation featured several new games, including Ghost of Yōtei, the long-awaited sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster for PlayStation, and new announcements like ArcheAge Chronicles.

Additionally, there will be DLCs for Astro Bot and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. A brand new LEGO game set in Sony’s Horizon universe has also been announced, called LEGO Horizon Adventures. Sony is also adding a number of PS5 Pro-Working on improved games.

Sony Also Unveils New Chroma Sideplates and DualSense Controllers for PS5

In addition to the games, Sony has also surprised fans with a new collection of side plates for the PS5 (slim console) and new DualSense controllers. Available in Chroma Pearl, Chroma Indigo, and Chroma Teal, these accessories will be released gradually, with pre-orders starting on October 3, 2024. The Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo accessories will be released on November 7, 2024. The India release dates are yet to be announced.

As for pricing, the Chroma DualSense wireless controllers will be priced at $79.99, while the Chroma PS5 console cases for the slim PlayStation 5 model will be priced at $64.99.
