Amazing Face Render Comparisons of Top Stars

Amazing Face Render Comparisons of Top Stars

EA FC 25 will be released worldwide on September 27, but for fans who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, it will be available on September 20. One of the first questions consumers and fans of the series will be asking is: how much better is EA FC 25 than EA FC 24?

I’m still trying to find the answer to this question, but I can say that I see a slight difference in the art style between the two games.

Which is better? This may be a matter of preference rather than a simple one-or-one answer. However, I’ve taken side-by-side images of renders of 10 of the sport’s biggest stars, starting with Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe above.

While the lighting in the led photos is clearly different, the EA FC 24 render looks a bit brighter. It’s probably the same head render but with different lighting and shaders, the EA FC 25 render looks different.

I love both, and both renders show off their mastery of various hair types. I’m convinced that no sports video game has better hair management than EA FC. Whether it’s from a motion or texture capture perspective, this team nails every hair type.

Mbappe’s waves are in place. Let’s take a look at the side-by-side images of the other nine stars.

EA FC 24 – EA FC 25 – Jude Bellingham

The cover athlete from EA FC 24 looks a bit different in EA FC 25. His face looks a bit longer and his jaw looks a bit more square. I’m not sure if this is due to lighting, but some of the differences from the Mbappe comparison are present here as well.

EA FC 24 – EA FC 25 – Robert Lewandowski

Both Lewandowski renders look strong, but I like the EA FC 24 look a bit more. It looks a lot less like a video game.

EA FC 24 vs EA FC 25 – Vini Jr.

I believe EA needs to do some work to improve the in-game rendering of Vini Jr. There’s something odd about his head shape, and when you look at this real-life image of the Real Madrid star, you can see the differences.

EA FC 24 vs. EA FC 25 – Lionel Messi

The GOAT looks strong in both games, but I like the way the lighting in EA FC 25 brings out Messi’s more prominent features.

EA FC 24 – EA FC 25 Match – Bukayo Saka

Arsenal’s 23-year-old star looks even younger in EA FC 25. Players in the latest version may have thinner necks, making the models look younger.

EA FC 24 and EA FC 25 – Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo designs have the same feel, the only difference is the head angle and lighting.

EA FC 24 vs. EA FC 25 – Erling Haaland

The Haaland renders seem to be going the other way compared to the others. The EA FC 25 version looks more realistic for some reason, but both have remarkable details that shouldn’t disappoint.

EA FC 24 vs. EA FC 25 – Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne has one of the most distinct looks of any top player from EA FC 24 to EA FC 25. The hairstyle update is correct. The image below is from the UEFA Champions League Stage MD1 match on September 18. However, you could make a strong case that the skin tone is wrong.

EA FC 24 vs. EA FC 25 – Mo Salah

EA has been consistently good with its renders of Salah, and there’s very little difference between the Liverpool star in EA FC 24 and EA FC 25. EA’s renders make the beautiful game look great no matter how you slice it.
