Divya Khossla recently spoke about the comparisons to her film Save and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film JigraSince both the films revolve around prison escapes and emotional bonds, fans and the media drew parallels between them. While Divya admitted that there were some similarities, she emphasised that each film had its own journey and unique narrative.

Divya’s thoughts on Savi’s success

Divya expressed her gratitude for the positive response SaveStarring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, the film is inspired by the story of Savitri and Satyavan and is about a housewife’s attempt to escape her husband from a maximum security prison in England. It is available in theatres and on OTT platforms.

“Every film has its own unique journey,” Divya stated. “I am grateful for the opportunity to explore this genre for the first time and bring our story to the screen.”

Directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Save It was released on May 31.
