Al B. Shore Suggests Diddy Played a Role in Kim Porter’s Death in 2018

A week after Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest, the new Jack Swing singer Al B. Sure! has moved to Instagram To detail the extensive conspiracy he claims surrounding the death of a model-turned-actress in 2018 Kim PorterThe R&B singer has called for an investigation, claiming that her ex-lover and the newly jailed wealthy man were on-again, off-again lovers and that the man’s knowledge of her alleged sex trafficking led to her death.

On Monday, Al B. Sure!, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown, detailed what he said was the work of multiple people who were around Brown when he died of lobar pneumonia; in four posts that included photos of the former couple and pages from their memoirs, Brown referred to Porter’s death in 2018 as a “tragic murder.”

“In summary, it is alleged that the reason Kimberly was taken from us was because Ms. Cassie Ventura set out to accomplish what she did by lighting the Bonfire (sic) that brought us here today,” Brown wrote.

Brown, who has called for an investigation by authorities, suggests that anyone found around Porter’s home, especially any promoters, should be questioned by law enforcement, as she accuses him of a conspiracy to prevent the publication of Porter’s book. He claims this involved swapping pages of her manuscript with others so that the incendiary details were never published. Brown claims that he learned about what Porter planned to include in his memoir “from frequent and intimate conversations in his selfless attempts to save my life.”

Brown also claims that she was ignored by authorities for years while trying to expose the alleged cover-up, and even “medically silenced” while trying to expose the truth. In 2023, she fell into a coma after being intubated while hospitalized for multiple illnesses. She underwent a liver transplant and survived the ordeal, which she described on Instagram as “multi-system organ failure, septic, intubated, on a ventilator for 38 days, and forced to visit death’s door.”

Porter was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California, home in 2018 after days of flu-like symptoms. The coroner initially listed Porter’s cause of death as “deferred” but later changed it to lobar pneumonia. Porter dated Diddy on and off throughout 2017; in addition to the three children she and Diddy share—Christian Combs and twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs—Porter has a son named Quincy Brown with Brown.

In four Instagram posts, Brown references allegedly stolen notes intended to go into Porter’s memoir and claims that his devices, including a computer, are missing, suggesting some sort of cover-up surrounding the book and his death. Brown’s references to Ventura and a “recently released public indictment document” suggest Combs was involved in Porter’s death to silence specific details in his memoir.

“Ms. Porter’s missing devices allegedly contain critical evidence that was undoubtedly concealed as evidence. I am convinced that the evidence closely matches the details set forth in the recently released public indictment. It is also fair to note that the individuals involved in this matter may also be connected to the alleged murders of several prominent artists,” Brown wrote, adding that while “many were surprised,” entertainment industry insiders “need to understand the obvious more clearly.”

An email sent to Combs Global seeking comment from a representative for the jailed businessman did not immediately elicit a response Monday. Combs has been in custody for a week after being arrested on federal smuggling and RICO charges.
