Fujifilm Celebrates the Art of Creative Storytelling with Second Annual Create With Us Event

VALHALLA, NY, Sept. 23, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging and Optical Devices Divisions, announced the second annual Create with Us event, an immersive celebration of the visual arts in Austin, Texas on Saturday, September 28, 2024. A free, hands-on event for anyone interested in photography, cinematography or the visual arts, Create with Us is a dynamic public exhibition curated by a new generation of image makers and content creators showcasing the power of image and video production.

The one-day event will provide creatives with a variety of opportunities to gain educational experience through workshops and demos, get hands-on time with Fujifilm digital camera and lens equipment (including local photo walks led by professional photographers), and gain creative, hands-on experience in photo and video booths. The event will feature a broadcast studio setup that demonstrates how Fujifilm camera and lens equipment are used in a variety of broadcast scenarios. In these scenarios, attendees will have the opportunity to try out cameras and lenses from the FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System product lines, as well as the FUJINON line of cinema and broadcast lenses. A variety of presentations and interactive roundtable discussions are planned, emphasizing a wide range of topics related to photography and video production.

“Sense of community Create with Us inspires “It was an incredible experience among the broader photography community,” said Victor Ha, vice president of Electronic Imaging and Optical Devices Divisions, FUJIFILM North America Company. “Last year’s event was so inspiring that it was a natural decision to bring it back in 2024. Attendees spent the day learning and creating together in a space designed for collaboration and artistic expression, fully immersing participants in creative, interactive experiences. This year, we decided that Austin’s creative hub would be the perfect place to bring that energy, and we’re excited to make new connections with our community at the event.”

The event will also feature complimentary Fujifilm cleaning and inspection services for Fujifilm-branded equipment, and loaner equipment for creators to try out the latest FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System cameras and lenses. Also present will be representatives from Fujifilm’s authorized local distributor Precision Camera and a variety of companies that partner with Fujifilm on hardware, software and accessories that enhance the creative process for users. Additionally, members of the Austin art and music scene – muralist “ER” and the band The Tiarras – will both be at the event. Create with Us.ER will create a specially designed mural Create with Us The Tiarras will bring their eclectic musical fusion to the event with live performances that will continue throughout the day.

“In essence, Create with Us “This is a day dedicated to embracing every aspect of content creation,” Ha said. “This is an event for everyone, regardless of brand preference. We encourage anyone who is interested to come and Create with Us!”

Create with Us Open Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM CST at the Distribution Hall at 1500 East 4pearl Street, Austin, Texas 78702.
