CBS Sports Network to air 20 additional Big 12 basketball games per year

According to CBSSPORTS.com’s Kyle Boone, CBS Sports and the Big 12 have expanded their partnership by “adding 20 basketball games per year to CBS Sports Network.” The new deal, a multi-year agreement that runs through the 2026-27 season, is a “sublicense agreement with ESPN.” CBS Sports airs at least six Big 12 men’s college basketball games on CBS each year, all of which are streamed live on Paramount+. The new deal “will strengthen CBS Sports’ position in sports and serve as a booster for at least 26 games from the Big 12 each season.” Approximately 300 regular-season games will “show on CBS, CBS Sports Network and Paramount+,” including “15 automatic bids to the NCAA men’s and women’s tournaments.”CBSSPORTS.com, 9/23).
