HCM City to host international garment and textile industry exhibition

HANOI: Vietnam International Garment & Textile Industry Fair – VTG 2024 will be held from September 25-28 in HCM city.

The event, which will bring together more than 380 participants from 12 countries and regions around the world, will showcase the latest technological developments in fabrics, yarns and accessories, as well as textile solutions, shoe manufacturing machines and computerized sewing machines.

Focus will be on promoting digital transformation and environmentally friendly dyeing solutions in footwear production to help Vietnam’s textile industry meet stringent EU/ESG standards.

The event will feature seminars on global supply chain integration, as well as technological advancements and automation. Vietnam’s economic outlook for the footwear industry will also be a key topic for discussion, as will strategies to increase the value of the textile and garment industry through high-impact fabric supply chains.

The exhibition is jointly organized by Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising JSC (Vinexad) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Yorkers Trading and Marketing Services Inc., Guangdong Sewing Equipment Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong Shoemaking Machinery Association and Paper Communication Exhibition Services.

VTG 2024 will be held in parallel with the Vietnam International Textile and Clothing Accessories Exhibition (VITATEX), Vietnam International Dyeing and Chemical Industry Exhibition (DYECHEM) and Vietnam International Footwear Machinery and Material 2024 (VFM). — Vietnam News/ANN
