Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Major Patch 1.38 Released

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Major Patch 1.38 Released

Arc System Works and Namco Bandai have released a new balance patch Dragon Ball FighterZ. The PlayStation, Xbox and Steam ecosystems have received updates. The Nintendo Switch’s turn is coming soon, with an unannounced date, according to Twitter. The changes themselves can be seen here: Massive 21-page documentation.

The roster looks to have had moves and normals changed for the sake of balance. For example, Adult Gohan has at least 70% of his new changes, and a page dedicated to Ultra Instinct Goku and Master Roshi.

When it comes to the community’s reaction to the changes, there are mixed opinions on both sides. While most of the Twitter comments skew towards the negative, there is some praise on the other side. The game has had some rough patch releases this year, including a feature rollback in March. Perhaps the grass was greener on the other side of Namek’s 1.35 release. It may be too early to tell.

You can see the full patch notes here: Namco Bandai website.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
