In a resurfaced video shared on Instagram, both Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan can be seen setting the stage on fire with their performance at an award ceremony in the early 2000s. The actors can be seen dancing to Salman Khan’s popular song ‘Hata Saawan Ki Ghata’ from the film ‘Hello Brother’, starring Salman Khan, his brother Arbaaz Khan and Rani Mukerji.

On Salman and Aishwarya’s breakup

Aishwarya fell in love with Salman during the shooting of the 1999 romantic drama ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The couple broke up in 2002.

After her breakup with Salman, Aishwarya opened up about the challenges she faced during their relationship. Speaking to The Indian Express at the time, Aishwarya said, “I supported him in his worst phases of alcoholic misbehaviour and in return, I was subjected to his abuse (verbal, physical and emotional), infidelity and degrading behaviour. So, like any other self-respecting woman, I ended my relationship with him.”
