Boulet Brothers’ Dragula to Debut in Season 6; Jennifer Tilly Joins Jury

Season 6 of the popular drag reality show “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” will air on AMC+ with a 90-minute episode Shake On October 1st.

Shudder also revealed the full list of judges for the upcoming season, including: Jennifer Tilly (“Bride of Chucky,” “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”) Mike Flanagan (“Midnight Mass,” “Haunting of Hill House”), Jamie Clayton (“Hellraiser”), Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black,” “She-Hulk”), Don Mancini (“Chucky” creator and writer) and Justin Simien (“The Haunted Mansion,” “Dear White People”).

Additional judges include David Dastmalchian (“Late Night with the Devil,” “Dune,” “Suicide Squad”), Akela Cooper (“Writer,” “Malignant,” “M3gan,” “The Nun 2”), Joe Bob Briggs & Darcy (hosts of “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs”), Violet Chachki (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”) Alaska Thunderfck (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Tananarive Due (writer of “Horror Historian”), Darren Stein (“Jawbreaker”), Mathieu Cote (creator of “Dead By Daylight”), Landon Cider (winner of “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” Season 3) and Niohuru X (winner of “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” Season 5).

“The next episode of ‘The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula,’ dubbed ‘Season 666,’ is the most ambitious and terrifying yet, taking the stakes to hellish new heights as world-renowned actors and directors join the judging panel. Each episode promises spine-chilling, extreme physicality that will force the cast of drag superstars to confront their darkest fears,” the show’s logline reads.

“This 10-episode season is bigger, bloodier and more brutal than anything that came before. It features expanded ‘on-location’ challenges, twisted new themes for the stage shows, cinematic scares and innovative drag that will leave audiences breathless,” he continues.

“The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” is a reality show and competition that brings together extreme drag performers from around the world to compete in jaw-dropping challenges including costume design and creation, makeup and special effects, live performance and craftsmanship. Contestants compete for a grand prize of $100,000, a headlining role on a world tour and the coveted Dragula crown.

“This season, we’re pushing the boundaries of what horror and drag can be. Expect the unexpected, as we’re dragging our monsters deeper into darkness than ever before,” Dracmorda Boulet said in a statement.

“Every season, we strive to bring out the most intimidating and innovative talent, and this year the competition is deadlier, the challenges are more brutal, the artistic talent is unmatched, and the fear is real,” Swan Boulet said.

Following the premiere, new one-hour episodes will air weekly on Tuesdays.
