Weekly Cable Ratings: Fox News Returns to Top in Primetime

Fox News returned to the top of the primetime charts last week, a week after being dethroned by MSNBC, while maintaining its dominance of the total day charts.

Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers for the week of Aug. 26-Sept. 1, edging out second-place ESPN, according to Nielsen data.
