Rising rock band Mindless Crowd are set to make waves with the release of their latest album, ‘Wanderlust.’ Released on Friday, August 30, 2024, ‘Wanderlust’ is more than just an album, it’s a deeply personal exploration of life’s journey and the lessons learned along the way.

“The album is a winding journey of introspection. A call to venture out of your daily routine and explore new horizons that you have long dreamed of. Along the way you will encounter motivation, disappointment, success and failure, but in the end it is up to you to hear the world your way. You will emerge stronger with every step you take,” the band says.

Founded in 2012 by high school friends Alex (guitar/vocals) and Julien (guitar), Mindless Crowd began their journey by covering iconic bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Eagles, alongside Gaël (bassist) and Lucas (drummer). These early performances in Geneva allowed the band to hone their craft and develop a distinctive sound that captivated audiences. As they transitioned from covers to original compositions, their fan base grew steadily, setting the stage for their next creative chapter.

Drawing inspiration from rock legends like Dire Straits and The Doors, and modern artists like Gorillaz, The Strokes, and Dope Lemon, Mindless Crowd deliver a hard rock experience that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly original. With over 150,000 streams on Spotify, the rising rockers have a rapidly growing fan base and are quickly becoming a powerful presence in the rock scene.

The band explains: “Until we accept that our past is what makes us strong, the path we choose is wrong. Don’t hate your mistakes – you’d be worse off without them” is the poignant message at the heart of their music. The band has also performed live at Les Caves Versoix, Fête de la Musique Genève and Otter Summer Fest Genève, with plans to play more shows later this year.

Following the success of their debut EP, the band return with a series of tracks that showcase their unique blend. New album ‘Wanderlust’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
