‘My mother taught me the importance of quality clothing’

‘My mother taught me the importance of quality clothing’

The Princess Royal is famous for recycling her wardrobe, often wearing pieces she’s had for 30 or 40 years (which might seem like an eco statement, as much as it might be boasting about having kept the same dress size for that long).

Tindall inherited a similarly realistic attitude, which she now applies to her own life as a competitive equestrian and mother of three; daughters Mia, 10, and Lena, six, and son Lucas, three. She advises building a “wardrobe of quality investment pieces that will stand the test of time but also have the technical finish you need.”

This new collection, he says, meets those demands. “They fit really well and are warm and durable, but they’re also very light and have great movement. The technical waterproof fabrics and great insulation are exactly what I expected,” he explains. The four styles cost between £350-£450 and offer a functional but stylish palette of khaki and navy.
