See a side of Travis Kelce you’ve never seen before in the spooky ‘Grotesquerie’ trailer – NBC10 Philadelphia

Travis Kelce is showing the world that he can do more than just throw touchdown passes.

Kansas City Chiefs star appears in new TV series Trailer for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX horror series “Grotesquerie” It came out on September 4th.

“Hello everyone. Check out the trailer for FX’s ‘Grotesquerie,'” Kelce, who plays an as-yet-unnamed character on the series, says while introducing the trailer. “Yeah, you might see some familiar faces.”

“There’s no future after this,” he says rather mysteriously at one point in the trailer, and then reappears about 10 seconds later, staring without speaking.

In “Grotesquerie,” Niecy Nash-Betts plays a detective investigating a series of murders.

“There’s something hellish going on here,” he says in the trailer. “This killer is someone who knows anatomy. Blood, DNA — left there for us to find.”

“It’s like God gave the devil the keys to the candy store,” he says, before chatting with a nun who is investigating the murders and who appears to be affiliated with a cult.

“You’d have to really hate people to do what’s being done here,” Nash-Betts says later. “It’s inhumane. No – it’s Oneperson.”

Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Micaela Diamond, Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Raven Goodwin also star in “Grotesquerie,” which premieres Sept. 25 on FX.

This trailer featured a montage of scenes from the series. Kelce appeared in the trailer long enough to clasp his hands in front of his face and exhale.

“Since when has Travis Kelce been acting?” one user asked in the comments.

“I don’t know but I’m watching to see how well you perform,” one replied.

Others were happy to see the NFL star on their screens, like one who wrote, “TRAVIS!! What did you say?!” and added a fire emoji.

“Guys, guess who I worked with on ‘Grotesquerie’?” he said, then turned the camera to show Kelce smiling.

“This is what happens when WINNERS get together @killatrav Welcome to the Grostequerie!” he wrote in the video caption, referencing Kelce’s three Super Bowl wins and his Emmy win for starring in the 2022 miniseries “Monster.”

Kelce shared the same clip on his Instagram story.

“Stepping into a new world with one of the legends @niecynash1,” she wrote alongside the clip.
