Point of Rental Appoints Kat Gillis as General Manager of Record360

Point of Rental has hired Kat Gillis as general manager of Record360. As Record360’s chief operating officer, Gillis has played a vital role in the company’s operations and success. In her new position, she will oversee the continued growth of the product and organization within Point of Rental.

Record360, the world’s leading mobile inspection software, was acquired by Point of Rental in February 2024. It allows businesses to create detailed digital records using photos, videos, and notes that are time-stamped and stored digitally. Since the acquisition, its products have been integrated into Point of Rental’s rental management systems, and the team has added Blur Detection, an AI-first feature that notifies users when inspection photos are too blurry to document an item’s condition.

Gillis has built his career in both marketing and product operations, working at marketing and logistics SaaS companies Percolate and e-Courier Software. Since joining Record360 in 2019 as the company’s director of product and customer success, Gillis quickly rose to the position of chief operating officer in 2021.
