Cellular satellite trailer providing temporary service in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – The City of Asheville said they will be partnering with Verizon to deliver temporary cellular service to those affect by Helene.

The cellular satellite trailer will be located at the Family Justice Center, on 35 Woodfin Place in Asheville. The city said the tower will offer limited reception within several city blocks of where it will be parked.

More than 500 troops conducted 117 rescues in Western NC

The tower will be operating late Sunday afternoon.
