Argo customers are rushing to buy the PS5 console bundle with a big discount | Game | Entertainment

If you missed out on the PS5 Pro console earlier this week, don’t worry because Argos has great deals on the regular PS5 Slim and loads of games. As part of the retailer’s Next Level Gaming event, fans can get their hands on discounted games, PS5 console bundles and accessories for a limited time. As you can see from the links below, this includes a discount of just £499.98 on the PS5 Slim, which comes with an internal disc drive and a copy of the excellent Final Fantasy 16. According to the Argos website, this discounted bundle is selling extremely fast, with eager customers snapping up hundreds of units. If you’re looking to pick up a discounted console with a copy of the Square Enix role-playing game, visit the PlayStation 5 store page and click “Discount Packs” to the right of the console. You’ll then be presented with a list of money-saving deals, including the bundle that includes Final Fantasy 16.

Alongside discounts on PS5 console bundles, Argos has also slashed prices on dozens of games across PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

This includes games like Hogwarts Legacy, which can be purchased for as little as £21 (for PS4 and Xbox One versions).

Choose a game, add it to your cart and enter code GAMING25 to get 25% off the asking price.

Elsewhere, Argos sells discounted accessories such as steering wheels, headsets and carrying cases, as well as discounted gaming furniture such as chairs and tables.

If you really want to go the extra mile, you can even pick up a PS5 with an OLED TV at a discounted price.

However, especially with Christmas on the horizon, my go-to is the discounted PS5 Slim with a copy of Final Fantasy 16.

Unlike the £699 PS5 Pro, this particular model comes with a built-in disc drive; This means you can play physical games and watch DVD/Blu-ray.

It comes with 1TB of storage via a super-fast Solid State Drive that reduces loading times to mere seconds.

The console comes with a DualSense Controller with advanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

These particular features are perfectly showcased by the built-in Astro’s Playroom game, a hugely entertaining 3D platformer starring Sony’s newest mascot.

As for Final Fantasy 16, the game has a more mature tone, combining the political intrigue of something like Game of Thrones with the whimsical world of Final Fantasy, complete with Chocobos and Summons.

Developer Square Enix explains more: “An epic, dark fantasy world where the fate of the land is determined by powerful Eikons and the Dominants who wield them.

“This is the story of Clive Rosfield, a warrior who claimed the title of ‘First Shield of Rosaria’ and swore to protect his younger brother Joshua, ruler of Phoenix.

“Soon Clive finds himself caught up in a great tragedy and swears revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that has brought disaster upon him.”
