Unplug and Play event promotes healthy play and community togetherness

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The City of North Las Vegas hosted its Third Annual Plug and Play Event on Saturday at Liberty Park at North Las Vegas City Hall.

The event was planned for children to step away from electronic devices and go outside and play.

Children between the ages of 3-15 had the chance to participate in the free toy raffle.

The giveaway was on a first-come, first-served basis, and children had to be present to receive the items.

Unplug and Play highlights how important it is to promote healthy outdoor play and community unity among children.

The activity provided children with a way to develop social skills and physical activities without electronic devices.
