Knowles danced her American Smooth routine to Blur’s Parklife on tonight’s live show, and viewers at home were impressed with her performance.

“Good job Nick, great job getting injured! Cute American Smooth #Absolutely,” said one wrote.

It wasn’t just the viewers at home who were impressed, as the jury panel awarded the duo 21 points.

Following his performance, Craig Revel Horwood told Knowles: “It was a bit of a grind but I’m telling you Nick, you’ve got potential and we saw that tonight.”

Motsi Mabuse added: “I agree with Craig, you’re definitely potential, you moved with ease. And I wouldn’t have known there was something wrong with your arm if I hadn’t been told.”

Meanwhile, head judge Shirley said: “I hope all the people in the house appreciate that you only had 16 hours to put this together. You did it and you made no mistakes. I’m not going to judge your footwork because I feel like what you did for 16 hours was absolutely amazing.”

Anton Du Beke also had praise for Knowles, telling her: “I thought your footwork wasn’t that bad, to be honest. I thought your frame was pretty good. I thought it was really nice to dance with you.”

He continued: “You seem like a lovely partner. You have a pleasant and sympathetic handle. Your lifts look good and safe. You move well on the ground. In your language I would say ‘this house is built on very good foundations.’
