The film, along with the hit album of the same name, made Prince a superstar with songs like the title track “Let’s Go Crazy” and “When Doves Cry.” These followed other hits such as “1999” and “Little Red Corvette” and sold more than 100 million albums with its gender- and genre-defying blend of rock, funk and soul. he died On April 21, 2016, the 57-year-old accidentally overdosed on fentanyl at his property in Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

There is also a lounge where guests can play guitar, drums or piano. QR codes throughout the house connect visitors to the homeowners’ reviews.

“This is really meant to draw you into The Kid’s world,” Killam said.

And of course, there’s plenty of purple, his signature color, as a tribute to Prince, his career, and his influence. A large mural depicting purple bananas was a nod to “Let’s Go Wild,” Killam said.
