West Indies to tour Sri Lanka for white-ball series

Sri Lanka Cricket announced on Friday that the West Indies will tour the island next month and play three one-day internationals and three T20 matches.

The cricket board said the six-match tournament will begin with a T20 match in Dambulla on October 13. The second T20 will be on October 15 and the last one will be two days later.

The ODI tournament will be played in Pallekele from October 20. The second ODI is scheduled to be held on October 23, with the final three days later on October 26.

The West Indies last played in an ODI series hosted by Sri Lanka in 2020, winning all three matches. They played two T20 matches during the same visit and won both.
