Honda City Special Edition – V specification with free Modulo body kit and accessories; pearl white; 99 pieces; RM95,200

Honda Malaysia (HM) Honda announced the City Special Edition earlier this monthbut at that time the car was not yet in showrooms and there were no official images of the SE. The improved B-segment sedan has now been revealed and here’s a full live gallery.

Essentially, the City SE is a V-class car equipped with the Modulo accessory package, but without the price increase. Only 99 units of the SE will be available RM95,200 stranded without insurance.

Among the beauties added to the V are the Modulo front lower spoiler, rear lower spoiler and side skirts. However, there is no trunk spoiler, which is something you need to add. ‘SE’ badging on the rear completes the exterior. To the City V’s interior, HM added side step trim, interior footwell lighting (white), a front digital video recorder, aka dashcam, and a luggage tray.

Finally, the City SE can only be had in Platinum White Pearl color (the actual price of the V is RM94,900, but pearl white adds RM300). There are no changes on the 16-inch glossy rims with 185/55 tires.

Standard kit on the V includes automatic LED headlights, keyless entry/start with remote auto-locking, remote engine start, single-zone automatic air conditioning, Honda LaneWatch and an 8.0-inch touchscreen head unit with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Honda City is powered by a 1.5-liter, naturally aspirated, four-cylinder engine with 121 PS/145 Nm. Drive from the DOHC i-VTEC unit goes to the front axle via a CVT. Once again, the City SE goes for RM95,200 OTR without insurance; this is the price of the V plus RM300 for the pearl white paint job.
