Hartland man killed on Hwy. 13 head-on crashes – ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) – A 26-year-old man from Hartland, Minnesota, died following a head-on crash early this morning.

according to Minnesota State PatrolThe crash happened at 3:37 a.m. on Highway 13 near Freeborn County Road 35. The accident report states that the Pontiac Grand Am was traveling northbound and collided with a southbound Kenworth construction truck tractor and trailer.

As a result of the accident, the unidentified driver of the Grand Am died. It was reported that he was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the truck, 80-year-old Dwight Kleinschrodt of Albert Lea, was taken to an Albert Lea hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
