A new mugshot has been released for the man accused of shooting Harris County Pct. 4 corporals to death

A new mugshot has been released for the man suspected of killing Harris County Pct. 4 corporals at the beginning of this month.

Athir Murady(40) has since been charged with evading arrest Galveston County and murder for a shooting death in Harris County. Harris County Precinct 4 Cpl. Maher Hussein On September 3.

Hussein was driving to work in his personal vehicle when Police Corporal said Murady got out of his car, approached and began shooting at Hussein’s SUV. After shooting at Husseini and running away, Murady returned to the scene and shot him again before leaving the area, an HPD source said.

Murady was captured that afternoon after being tracked to Galveston. Authorities said he drove towards the scene. galveston Bay and tried to escape by jumping into the water. Murady was eventually rescued by a police boat and taken into custody.

Murady’s arrest led Galveston County officials to defend license plate reading cameras in the area; because technology was used to track Murady after the shooting.
