US Bank Stadium to host Concacaf Gold Cup next summer – Twin Cities

US Bank Stadium has been selected as one of 14 venues to host the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, the confederation announced Wednesday.

This will be the first time the Minneapolis-based stadium has hosted the Gold Cup, as Allianz Field in St. Paul has become the go-to venue for U.S. national team matches since its opening in 2019.

The intercontinental tournament, which will be held between men’s national teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean, will be held from June 14 to July 6. Match venues will be determined following the official draw on April 10.

The other 13 venues west of the Mississippi River are a mix of MLS and NFL venues: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas; Q2 Stadium, Austin, Texas; NRG Stadium and Shell Energy Stadium, Houston, Texas; Dignity Health Sports Park, Carson, California; SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California; Snapdragon Stadium, San Diego, California; PayPal Park, San Jose, California; Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California; Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas; State Farm Stadium, Phoenix; City Park, St. Louis; and BC Place, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Five of these stadiums are exclusively for football matches.

This will be a key tournament for new U.S. men’s national team coach Mauricio Pochettino as he heads to the 2026 World Cup. The former Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Paris St. Germain coach took over the U.S. squad this month.

Mexico, which won the 2023 Gold Cup, has a record nine men’s Gold Cup titles, followed by the United States (seven) and Canada (one).
