Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin shine in ‘A Real Pain’ trailer

LOS ANGELES — The official trailer for Searchlight Pictures’ “A Real Pain” has finally been released (WARNING: TRAILER CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE).

The film stars mismatched cousins ​​Jesse Eisenberg (David) and Kieran Culkin (Benji) as they reunite for a tour of Poland to commemorate their deceased grandmother. As their journey continues, family dynamics take a turn as the couple’s relationship comes to the fore again.

“I love him, I hate him, and I want to be him,” David says of Benji.

The comedy-drama film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where Jesse Eisenberg won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.

Variety magazine called the film “a beautifully complex road movie.”

“Real Pain” was written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg, and the cast includes Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy and Daniel Oreskes.
