Deion Sanders Says This MLB Star Is The Michael Jordan Of Baseball

Michael Jordan is arguably the best in the NBA, so being compared to him is a huge honor.

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani has been likened to Jordan by one of the most influential figures in sports. Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders is not only a college football star, but also a former NFL All-Pro cornerback and retired MLB outfielder.

“Ohtani is incredible,” Sanders shared. “You can compare him to the Jordans and Tom Bradys of the world. He’s the type of guy that does things that we can’t even fathom.”

The Dodgers’ two-way starter recently became the first player in league history to record 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season.

“It doesn’t make sense,” Sanders said. “I think the only person who could do that is (Jose) Canseco or Barry Bonds.”

Ohtani not only invented the 50/50 club, he did it in his only year away from pitching. The Japanese sensation has been out of action this season due to shoulder surgery. While it’s hard to reason with someone who can compare himself to the Chicago Bulls legend, Ohtani is on his way to elite status.
