Arkansas High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams – Sept. 24

No significant changes Arkansas On3 Massey Ratings The top 25 list as of Sept. 24. The teams that have dominated Arkansas high school football, especially those ranked among the top 100 teams nationally, continue to hold onto their spots at the top.

Meanwhile, the high school football rivalry in ‘The Natural State’ is highlighted by the fact that only four of the top ten teams remain undefeated. Here’s how the state’s top teams stack up against their rivals before another series of games takes place this weekend.

Previous: No. 1
The Hornets remain the best team in Arkansas after a 30-10 win over Parkview. Jordan Walker threw for 149 yards and three TDs, while Daniel Anderson had 98 rushing yards and one TD. The 32nd-best team in the country has beaten their top three opponents by an average margin of 23.6 points. That number seems even more impressive when you consider that they have beaten top-10 teams. So their Sept. 27 matchup against unranked Little Rock Central should be a walk in the park.

The Bulldogs have the best offense in Arkansas high school football, scoring 184 points through three games. In a 56-19 win over Har-Ber, Kane Archer lit up the stat sheet with 358 passing yards and six TDs. Four of those TDs went to Champ Davis, who dominated the Wildcats with 138 passing yards. But after starting the season against easier opponents, Greenwood will face a real test on Sept. 27 in a road game against tenth-ranked Shiloh Christian.

Limiting Marion to seven points gave the Wampus Cats their third win in as many games. The Patriots scored first, while Conway scored 49 to maintain their unblemished record. After beating their first three opponents 146-49, the nation’s 79th-ranked team returns to action after a week off and faces Little Rock Southwest in the 27th round.pearl.

None of the Bruins’ first three opponents have been able to stop their explosive offense, which has scored 127 combined points against Madison-Ridgeland Academy and West Monroe. In the high-scoring matchup against the Rebels, Brandon Cobb completed six touchdown passes for 346 yards and added two more touchdowns with 103 rushing yards. Ja’vion Walker also had a big game, finishing with 114 rushing yards and a touchdown. Pulaski Academy can continue its unbeaten streak against North Little Rock in Week 27.pearl.

The Patriots suffered their first defeat this season, losing by 20 points to No. 1 Bryant. Massey Ratings predicted a close game, but Parkview Magnet only managed ten points. However, despite allowing 30 points to the Hornets, Parkview’s defense still ranks second among Arkansas high school football teams. The Patriots could rediscover their winning ways against Hot Springs on Thursday, September 26.

The Bulldogs remain in the top ten despite a one-point loss to Texas High. They scored a season-high 54 points but were unable to secure a win. While they are no longer undefeated, the Massey Ratings rank them with the sixth-best offense and fifth-best defense in Arkansas. Fayetteville players should keep their heads held high as they return to action on September 27 against Bentonville West.

Previous: No. 7
The Panthers have won in a row after beating Harding Academy by 42 points. Benton scored a season-high 63 points for 391 total yards and dominated the Harding Academy secondary with 281 passing yards. Likewise, Benton, which is averaging 50 points per game, is the fifth-best offense in Arkansas. The Panthers can extend their winning streak to three games against Jonesboro on Friday.

While the Tigers are still searching for their first win this season, they remain a top ten Arkansas high school football team due to having the most brutal strength of schedule. In their last game against Lee’s Summit North, the top-ranked team in Missouri, Bentonville trailed by just two points after three quarters. However, the Broncos scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to drop the Tigers to 0-3. Bentonville eventually won by 27.pearl.

The Warriors returned to the winning streak after a 48-7 win over West Memphis. They have scored at least 40 points in consecutive games, including a loss to Shiloh Christian. The Warriors can improve their standings by winning 12pearl-Ranked Cabot on September 27.

After winning their first two games, the Saints suffered a 38-14 defeat at Lincoln Christian. Shiloh Christian couldn’t stop the Bulldogs from scoring three touchdowns and two fumble return touchdowns. They’ll need to do better if they want to upset second-ranked Greenwood on Sept. 27.
