Acupuncturist who orchestrated $9M Amtrak health scam sentenced to federal prison

A woman who admits she’s from New York Mastermind behind $9 million Amtrak health scam was sentenced to federal prison.

Punson Figueroa, 58, of Long Island City, Queens, also known as “Susie,” was sentenced Tuesday to 34 months in prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey said in a news release. He pleaded guilty in March of this year to conspiracy to commit health care fraud.
