Our Favorite Accessories from Milan Fashion WeekFaith Brown

Here’s what I learned at Milan Fashion Week: Accessories are a form of magic. It may seem like an obvious one, but when your wardrobe is as basic as mine (I own one belt, two sunglasses, and eight pairs of the same exact black shoes), discovering the land of oversized hats, embellished mules, and tassel bags can feel like stumbling into Narnia.

My first foray into the front rows of Italy’s biggest fashion houses left me with barely any accessories. By the end of the week, with two new bags, a silk scarf, and a rope belt tucked into my handbag, it was clear that the magic of Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Bally had rubbed off on me. But perhaps my biggest accessory of all was my latest iPhone 16 Pro Max. With new features like taking sharp photos even when models were in motion or recording slow-motion footage at 4K resolution and 120 frames per second, I was able to capture everything I loved backstage and on the runway in vivid detail. See for yourself below.

The undercover look was everywhere; at Moschino, too, a model wore a scarf and sunglasses and posed with a tabloid praising the brand’s Tubino dress.

To achieve this look, Prada needs an accessory that is a combination of sunglasses and a bandana, which we call “sundana”.

The brand also introduced large hats, which seem to be this season’s mini trend.

At Marni, the headpiece was huge and paired with drawn-on eyebrows.

At Fendi, we saw miniature bags shaped like tea bags and honey jars.

Meanwhile, Moschino models walked the runway with bleach bottles and teapots.
