Colorado High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams — Sept. 23

After a fantastic weekend of high school football in the state of Colorado, the top 25 rankings in the Centennial State have been updated.

Denver-area powerhouse Cherry Creek remains at No. 1, but a handful of undefeated teams follow closely behind.

Below are the top 25 teams in the state as of the end of Week 4 according to the On3 Massey Ratings.

3. Mountain View (4-0)
4. Clematis (4-0)
5. Ralston Valley (4-0)
6. Pine Creek (3-1)
7. Palmer Ridge (4-0)

Cherry Creek had a big 51-39 road win over top-25 Highland Park (Texas), and the Bruins have won two of their three games against out-of-state opponents this season. No. 2 Valor Christian defeated Mullen 46-20, while Pine Creek beat Arapahoe 34-12 in a matchup between two top-10 teams.

14. Broom field (4-0)
15. Montrose (4-0)

Castle View stayed undefeated by defeating previously unbeaten Douglas County 31-14. Arapahoe, Broomfield and Montrose followed suit, while Regis picked up its first win of the season by defeating Fossil Ridge 35-14.

19. Pueblo West (4-0)
20. Dakota Ridge (3-1)

After dropping two games to top-10 rivals Mountain Vista and Ralston Valley, Erie got back on track with a 42-14 win over Fort Collins, setting up a big showdown with No. 14 Broomfield this weekend. Meanwhile, Dakota Ridge improved to 3-1 with a 34-12 win over rival Pomona ahead of a top-25 clash against Cherokee Trail.

Arvada West easily upset overmatched Overland in a 42-0 win. Eaglecrest improved to 3-1 with a 17-7 win over Denver East, and Fountain-Fort Carson defeated Lakewood 49-0. After an off week, they will face No. 24 Douglas County on Oct. 4.
