Marvel’s new Thunderbolts trailer is in full swing

Set some time after the events The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Lightning Bolts It will tell the story of a series of former Marvel foes who are recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) into a black ops team that looks to be a dark version of the Avengers. Former Black Widow Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) seems a little aimless when she arrives at the doorstep of her father Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian (David Harbour) and finds him living in squalor. Both are depressed about where their lives have come to – a sentiment shared by disgraced super soldier John Walker / U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell).

But while both men prefer to stay home, she is still active in the field as a deadly spy who carries out missions for whatever shadowy organization is willing to pay her. It is a bit surprising that they all appear in the same strange building as other superpowered professional killers like Ava Starr / Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Antonia Dreykov / Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko). None of them know what to do with Bob (Lewis Pullman), who seems like an ordinary person but Definitely notBut when all the doors to the building close, it’s clear that they’ve all been brought there, and potentially imprisoned, by someone who has plans for them as a group.

It’s not so clear how much of it there is Lightning Bolts Will it be about a team learning to work together while escaping a trap set just for them, or will much of the film focus on them in the wilderness alongside Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan)? But the film’s solid cast and some pretty fluid action shots in the trailer Lightning Bolts It promises to be a fun ride when it hits theaters on May 2, 2025.
